When you perform a "Deep Scan," our system doesn't just look at the listed price; it cross-references the current product value against historical data trends, active promotional cycles, and—most importantly—the Bank Logic Engine. This AI analyzes public reviews, pricing data, and specifications to provide insights, but it is not a human guarantee.
Prices on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart change constantly. The price shown by Kartup AI is a real-time estimate at the moment of your query. It might differ slightly by the time you click through to the merchant's website. We recommend verifying the final price on the seller's page before making a purchase.
Kartup AI is 100% free for all users. We believe that everyone should have access to high-level financial intelligence when shopping. We sustain our operations through a transparent Affiliate Commission Model. When you find a deal through our app and complete a purchase on a partner site (like Amazon or Flipkart), the merchant pays us a small referral fee at zero extra cost to you. This allows us to pay for our expensive Gemini AI API costs and keep the platform subscription-free for our community.
We only use your chat queries to find products and provide personalized recommendations. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers. We use external APIs (like Supabase, OpenAI/Anthropic, or search APIs) to process data, but we do not sell personal data to advertisers. Your search queries (product names/URLs) are sent to Google Gemini AI for analysis. This data is sent via the "Paid Tier" enterprise channel, which ensures your data is not used to train public AI models. We also use cookies to track affiliate link clicks, which is essential for us to get paid by Amazon/Flipkart.

At this stage, Kartup AI is optimized for the major Indian digital marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and several top-tier electronics D2C brands. Our AI requires a digital data feed to perform its "Deep Scan." While we do not currently support local "Kirana" or offline retail price matching, you can use the app while standing in an offline store to check if the online "Final Effective Price" (after bank offers) is a better deal than what the store manager is offering you.
Your safety is our baseline. Kartup AI never asks for, nor stores, your credit card number, CVV, or expiry date. We only ask you to select the name of your banking institution (e.g., HDFC, ICICI, SBI) and the type of card (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay). This allows our Bank Logic Engine to calculate "Instant Discounts" and "Cashback" specific to your wallet. By knowing your bank, we can show you a "Final Effective Price" that other users might not see. All bank preferences are stored in an encrypted database compliant with India's DPDP Act 2023 and can be wiped instantly if you choose to delete your account.
